Vatisha Terms of Service
Effective date: 24 April 2026
Applies to: The Vatisha mobile application and related services, including vatisha.com (together, the “Services”).
1) Agreement to these Terms
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2) Who we are
“Vatisha”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to the operator of the Services:

3) Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services, or use the Services under the supervision of a parent/guardian (as permitted by law). We may restrict use where required to comply with applicable law.
4) Your account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts to protect the Services, other users, or to comply with law.
5) Plant care advice and AI disclaimer (important)
Vatisha provides plant care tips, reminders, and (where enabled) AI-powered analysis based on photos and other inputs. All recommendations are informational only and may not be accurate for every plant or situation. Plant care outcomes vary based on many factors (environment, pests, soil, watering habits, etc.).
You are responsible for your decisions and actions. Vatisha does not guarantee plant health, recovery, or survival.
6) Your content (photos, plant data, posts)
A) Your ownership
You own the content you submit (e.g., plant photos, notes, posts/comments), subject to the license below.
B) License to Vatisha
To operate the Services, you grant Vatisha a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, and distribute your content only as needed to:
- provide the Services (e.g., analysis, timeline, sharing features),
- improve features (e.g., debugging, quality improvement),
- maintain safety and integrity (e.g., spam/abuse prevention).
C) Content rules
You agree not to upload or share content that:
- is illegal, hateful, harassing, or abusive,
- violates others’ privacy or intellectual property,
- includes personal data of others without consent,
- includes malware or attempts to compromise our systems,
- is spam or promotional content unrelated to plant care.
7) Care Club
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users in Care Club. This includes harassment, hate, threats, bullying, sexual or graphic content, illegal content, scams, spam, and deliberate misinformation.
If you use Care Club:
- you must accept the current Care Club rules before posting, commenting, reporting, or blocking;
- you must be respectful and helpful;
- you must not provide dangerous instructions, including unsafe plant-care advice involving toxic plants, toxic chemicals, or advice likely to harm a person, pet, or property;
- you must not harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, spam, or solicit personal contact information;
- you must not knowingly post wrong or misleading plant-care information in a way that could cause harm.
We may moderate content and take actions such as hiding, removing, reporting, blocking, or restricting accounts. We may also implement rate limits and reporting tools.

Care Club moderation
- Users can report posts and comments from the in-app overflow menus.
- Users can block other users from the same in-app surfaces or manage blocks later in Settings.
- Reports are reviewed within 24 hours, including weekends, during the RC launch window.
- Blocks are silent and mutual inside Care Club: blocked users do not see each other’s Care Club posts or comments.
8) Prohibited use
You must not:
- reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit the Services,
- access systems without authorization,
- interfere with operation or security,
- use the Services to violate any law.
9) Third-party services
The Services may integrate third-party services (e.g., hosting, storage, AI processing, weather data). Your use of such third-party services may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
10) Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data. By using the Services, you acknowledge our Privacy Policy. See /privacy.
11) Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- you violate these Terms,
- we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to others or the Services,
- required by law or regulators.
We may also remove content that violates these Terms.
12) Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VATISHA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT.
13) Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VATISHA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID VATISHA (IF ANY) IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR INR 1,000, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
(Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, limits apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.)
14) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Vatisha harmless from claims arising out of:
- your content,
- your use of the Services,
- your violation of these Terms or law.
15) Changes to the Services and Terms
We may update the Services and these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., in-app notice). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
16) Governing law and jurisdiction (India)
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
